According to the public relations report of the Scientific Association of Archeology of Iran, Faramarz Najd Samii, a pioneer translator and researcher of Iranian archeology and history, died at the age of 84.
After completing his studies, Faramarz Najd Samii worked for a while at the Azadi Tower Museum and then for many years at the Iranian Archeology Center. He was also the deputy of the Iranian Archeology Center. Faramarz Najd Sami was a capable and prolific translator. He translated scientific texts and books in the fields of archeology and history from German to Persian.
